Website hosting and technical logs

This website is hosted by Netlify, Inc. When you visit it, technical information may be processed to deliver and secure the site. This can include your IP address, date and time of access, requested page, referrer, browser and device information, and technical error or security logs.

We process this information under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interests are operating a secure, reliable website, preventing abuse, and diagnosing technical problems. Netlify processes this information for us as a service provider.

Contact and demo requests

If you submit the contact form, we process your agency name, your name, work email, any phone number you choose to provide, and the agency-size range you select. We use this information to respond to your enquiry and arrange a demo.

For requests made before entering a contract, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. For other business enquiries, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is responding to people who contact us about our service. Form submissions are handled through Netlify Forms and are available only to Kogsy personnel who need them to respond.

We normally delete enquiries that do not lead to a business relationship no later than 12 months after the last substantive contact. We may keep information longer where required by tax, commercial, or other law, or where it is needed to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

International data transfers

Netlify, Inc. is based in the United States. Where personal data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, Netlify states that it relies on recognised safeguards, including the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses, as applicable. Cookies and analytics

Kogsy does not use analytics or advertising cookies on this website. The site uses locally hosted fonts and does not load fonts from Google.

Your rights

Subject to the conditions in the GDPR, you may request access to your personal data, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, or data portability. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time without affecting earlier processing.

Automated decisions

We do not use website-enquiry data for automated decision-making or profiling.
